Empties #1: Elemis, Bastiste, Max Factor and more

I love seeing peoples empties, or trash because thats actually what this is hahahah! The reason I find empties so exciting is because thats when you know people love the products. They used it all up, and if they really loved the product they’re going to repurchase it. So here you get my first empties post. It mostly consists of skincare and hair products. Be aware, that this post will contain some affiliate links, which I will make money off if you click it and buy from the site.

Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner

This is my favourite shampoo and conditioner. They’re from Redken and I buy mine from lookfantastic.com, thats where they’re cheapest for me. Sometimes they got a bundle of the shampoo and the conditioner both 500 ml for no money! It’s so cheap for high-end hair products. It is actually not my first empty bottles of these, I think I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for a bit over a year now. They make my hair feel so soft and cared for. My hair is long and thin so I really need something to take care of my fragile hair, and these do a perfect job!

Redken All Soft Argan-6 Oil

I always use hair oil for my ends. It make them look so much better and if you got split ends they won’t be that noticeable. It is the first time I have used this from Redken, which is in the same line as my shampoo and conditioner. I have used many different oils and I honestly don’t see that big of a difference. The best I have ever tried is one from Biosilk, it is so fantastic! So if you’re looking for at good oil for your ends, then I would recommend that one!

Bastiste Dry Shampoo

I am a dry shampoo junkie! I love it! I’m actually only using dry shampoos from Bastiste. I don’t think that they’re better than any of the other I’ve been using, but I love that there are so many different smells of them! Right now I am using the tropical one which smells of coconuts – which I love so much! I also like that they got a dry shampoo for darker hair, not that I would need that with my blonde hair, hahah, but I think that would be a nice thing to have if you got a darker hair colour.

Well, now we’re moving on to the skincare part. A thing I am using many of is makeup wipes when I’m cleaning my face at night. I use many different kinds of makeup wipes. I also like baby wipes, they’re typically free for bad things like perfumes and parabens. I like baby wipes because I got a very sensitive skin and are allergic to almost everything!

Clinique Moisture Surge & Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

I bought these from my local drugsture because I’ve heard so much good stuff about Clinique. I met with a lady from Clinique which tested my skin to figure out, which products would be the best for me, which I thought was so nice! Unfortunately I got some wrong products for my skintype. Luckily I just bought some small testers to find out how they would work with my skin. I bought this 3 Step Intro Kit for skin type 3 plus the moisturiser individually. The kit for skin type 3 is for combination, oily skin, which I’m totally not. I don’t feel like my skin is either dry or oily, so the facial soap and lotion really dried out my skin. In the first week or so it felt soooooo smooth! I actually really liked the products – before they dried the hell out of my skin hahah – and maybe I would purchase another little set to try out, but of course not for combination, oily skin hahahah. I haven’t used up the facial soap or lotion, but the moisturisers I have and those I really like!

Elemis Smart Cleanse Micellar Water & Elemis Hydra-Nourish Night Cream

I actually got these for free from lookfantastic.com because I bought for a special amount of money. I always get a little sceptical when I get something for free hahahah, I don’t know why. But to be fair, I actually really liked these! I also got some other products in a mini size as well but I trashed it when it was empty hahahah, sorry for forgetting to save my trash <3 Anyways, I thought these products worked so great with my sensitive skin and they did exactly what they stated they would. I especially enjoyed the night cream and would definitely buy that again! I really want to try some more products from Elemis after trying out these, which I think is kind of the point with free gifts hahahah!

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

Okay, to be honest, this product is not empty. But I really don’t like it. I liked the sound of “false lash effect” which i guess it gives you? Just not the pair of false eyelashes I would go for… I felt like the product clumped my lashes together so it only looked like I had 5 big, chunky eyelashes. Also the wand of the mascara annoyed me. I know you can’t see it on my picture, but if you’re curious then check out the link! But it was like big and the brissels of it was so tiny, it was just not my cup of tea. Remember, if you enjoy this product then keep liking it! I’m not saying that this is a bad product, it just didn’t work out for me.
