I’ve written a review about the Slay All Day Setting Spray from Gerard Cosmetics before, but in Danish. So I though I would update the review and write it in English for you so everyone would be able understand it.
So since I wrote my last review, Gerard Cosmetics have expanded their range of the Slay All Day Setting Sprays. I chose the scent lavender, as I’ve always loved the smell of it and because I’ve heard that some of the other scents shouldn’t smell that great, which I can’t say if it’s true or false. You can now choose from seven different scents: Cucumber, grapefruit, green tea, jasmine, lavender, lemongrass and peach. I actually want to try out all of them, maybe not peach as I would feel like spraying peach ice tea all over my face hahahah. They’re available in two different sizes now, a full size in a 100 ml bottle which retails for around £15 on beautybay.com, and a travel size in a 30 ml bottle which retails for around £11 on beautybay.com. I really like that they came out with a travel size because I feel like the full size is a bit too big to travel with.
I actually like the product itself. I feel like it really makes my makeup last longer on my face and helps take away that powdery look. A thing I don’t like that much, is the duster. It’s not as fine as I would like and it sometimes sprays some big drops out on my face, which isn’t very flattering as you can see where they’ve landed.
I will rate the Slay All Day Setting Spray with 4,5 hearts out of 5 possible. I really like the product and I think it does what it state it will, which is what a product should! The reason I don’t give it the 5 hearts is because of the duster and the very big droplets it sometimes disperses. But all in all I think this is a very good product. Have you tried it out? If you have, then let me know how you feel about it in the comments!
