The Ordinary High-Spreadability Fluid Primer (£5.50 for 30 mL) is a lightweight spreadability enhancing primer for the face which contains high-flexibility silicones.
On their website they state that the primer
– have a lightweight serum-like formula
– increases the spreadability of subsequent complexion makeup to help avoid the unnatural and uneven accumulation of pigments
– acts as a light, non-oily surface hydrator for a natural dewy look
– is water-free, alcohol-free, oil-free, nut-free, cruelty-free, and vegan
First and foremost, I really like the dropper the primer comes in as I think it is very different from other primers and really shows how thin and lightweight the primer is. I also think you get a good amount of product as a little goes a long way. I think you need to be careful not to use too much as it will look crumbly when applying foundation and other products on top. I like to apply two drops directly to my face and then massage it in. I normally have a bit of creasing in my smile lines and between my brows even though I set everything with powder. But when using this primer the creasing is minimized! The primer helps giving my face a more natural look and makes it so soft! I think the primer is use-able for every skin type as I feel like it keeps the oils at bay but won’t dry out your face.
I really enjoy that the primer is free of stuff like alcohol as that would dry out your skin. I also think people with oily skin will find it beneficial that the primer is oil-free. People with nut allergies will also be able to use the primer as it is nut-free.
As you might already know from reading this review I really like this product! I use it everyday before every kind of foundation and I love it!! The only thing to remember is less is more. If you make sure to only apply the needed amount (even though applying more is so tempting as your face feels so soft when using the primer) your skin will look absolutely fabulous which is why I award this primer 5 hearts out of 5 possible!
The product works fantastic and is very affordable! What more do we need?! Have you tried the High-Spreadability Fluid Primer from The Ordinary? If you have, then tell me your opinion in the comments!
