Review: Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter

The Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter (£6 for 18 mL) is the liquid highlighter that the brand, Makeup Revolution, offers. They also offer a lot of different powder highlighters as well as stick highlighters. I own the liquid highlighter in the shade Starlight. It is available in six other shades as well.

On their website they state that the highlighter
is highly pigmented
can be applied on the face as highlighter or mixed into the foundation for a luminous look

When I first heard that Makeup Revolution was coming out with a liquid highlighter I could not wait to get my hands on it! There have been so much talk about the liquid highlighters from Iconic London but it is always so much nicer to try new products when they are affordable. I was so exited that they came out with seven shades and at least one of them would work on my fair skintone. The liquid highlighter is soooo pigmented I was so shocked when I first applied it to my cheekbones! If you don’t like a blinding highlight, then this is not for you! The highlight keeps going strong all day! It does not fade or move! I also tried mixing it into my foundation. At first I was a bit afraid that it would alter the shade of my foundation but it still matched me. I applied it all over my face and down my neck and it looked gorgeous! Depending on how much highlight you mix into the foundation the more glow you will get! I only mixed in about 2-4 drops as I did not know what to expect. But it looked so stunning through the 8+ hours I wore it!

I will award this liquid highlighter 5 out of 5 hearts!

I really adore this liquid highlighter and it is highly pigmented, as they state, and can be used as a highlighter or mixed into foundation or any other stuff like cremes! I hope they release more shades as I would like to see some more fair shades like an all white shade or a silver one! They have a shade named Unicorn Elixir which looks a bit different than the other ones on their swatches on their website:

It does not look as pigmented as the other ones and looks like it contains a lot of glitter witch the others don’t look like they do. I can say for sure that Starlight dosen’t contain glitter. Have you tried the Liquid Highlighter from Makeup Revolution? If you have, then let me know your opinion in the comments!
