Review: Coloured Raine Cosmetics Matte Lip Paint

The Coloured Raine Cosmetics Matte Lip Paint (£15 for 4 g) is the matte liquid lipstick formula the brand offers. They also offer lip glosses known as Lip Lacquer and stick lipsticks with satin finishes known as Satin Lipsticks. I own the Matte Lip Paint in the shade Brick House.

On their website they state that the lipstick
will dry down matte leaving your lips vibrant for hours
won’t budge unless oil based product is used for removal

At first sight I noticed that the applicator is more flat than usual and not as “fluffy”. I like that it isn’t as fluffy but I would have liked a more curved applicator like a doe foot applicator. But the applicator does it’s job I just personally prefer the doe foot applicator. The formula is very pigmented and is really easy to apply! The liquid lipstick dries down very fast and feels a bit uncomfortable at first but it is like the uncomfortable feeling will go away after a while and will afterward feel lightweight on the lips. There is no transfer at all! Once the liquid lipstick has dried down matte it won’t move! I don’t think you absolutely need an oil based product to remove the lipstick as I am able to remove it using a baby wipe. But if you want to make it easier for your self, then a oil based remover is a good choice.

I will award this liquid lipstick 5 hearts out of 5 possible!

I think this is an incredible good liquid lipstick formula and I will definitely get wear out of this one! I also think I would invest in more shades of this formula. I am not the biggest fan of the packaging as I just don’t think it looks cute at all. But the product works so it is okay hahah. Have you tried the Matte Lip Paint from Coloured Raine Cosmetics?
