Tutorial: Winged Eyeliner with Christmas Lights

Tutorial: Winged Eyeliner with Christmas Lights

A couple of days ago I showed you a full glam makeup look which I think would be stunning for the Holidays! But now, I need to share a more fun and creative makeup look with you, which I also think would be brilliant to wear for the Holidays! I have created a green winged liner and “decorated” it with Christmas lights! If this isn’t appropriate for the Holidays, then I don’t know what is hahahah! For this look, I have actually just used a bunch of different eyeliners! I made my lights a lot of different colours but you can, of course, chose the colours you want! If you are interested in knowing how to create this look, then keep on reading!

Before I started with all the liners, I applied some brown shadow to my crease to give my eyes some dimension. I used the Coastal Scents Hot Pot in the shade Kokomo Cafe and used the Natural Blender Brush from Coastal Scents to apply it. Now to the fun part! For the green winged liner, I used the Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in 86 and used the Small Angled Liner Brush from Coastal Scents to do the liner. If you are unsure of how to master a winged eyeliner, then I have made an easy tutorial for you right HERE!

Now it is time to make the black swirl around the winged eyeliner. This might look scary, but believeĀ me; if you have steady hands then this is not going to be a problem for you! I have really shaky hands and I made it! I think the toughest part for me and my shaky hands was to make the lights as I am concentrating so hard and trying not to shake which just makes me shake even more! Don’t be frightened, start the swirl on top of the liner and then do little by little. No one says you have to make it in one go so take your time and visualise the next part of the swirl before doing it. I have here used the NYX Cosmetics Matte Liquid Liner.

For the “lights” you can choose any colours you want! I searched for “Christmas lights” on google and saw a lot of lights with this pattern so that is what I have recreated. I have used the NYX Vivid Brights Liners in the shades Halo, Delight, Fire, Envy, and Sapphire. Now all you have to do is finish up your makeup! For my mascara, I have used the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara. For my brows, I have used the Tony Moly Easy Touch Auto Eye Brow in Brown and I used the shade White Sand from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit as my highlight.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on this funny makeup look! If you have any questions, then don’t be afraid to ask! I wish you all Happy Holidays! xxx
