Tutorial: 2018 Winged Eyeliner

Tutorial: 2018 Winged Eyeliner

I thought I would do another makeup look for New Year’s Eve to give you some more inspiration. If you are looking for a fun makeup look to celebrate the new year, then what is better than this 2018 winged liner? If you are interested in which products I have used and how to do it, then keep on reading!

To start off this look I created a long wined liner as we want to have space enough to write “2018”. If you are in doubt of how to achieve a winged liner, then take a look at this easy tutorial I have made for you right here! For the eyeliner, I have used the NYX Cosmetics Matte Liquid Liner. Next, I write “2018” on the wing of the eyeliner. You want to make sure that the people who are looking at you are able to read the “2018”. I used the same eyeliner for this.

To make this look a bit more festive, I applied some gold on top of some of the black liner. You could use a gold eyeliner for this, but as I didn’t have one, I used the shade Golden Dawn from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultimate Glow Kit and mixed it with a bit of Inglot Duraline to transform it into a liquid and use it as my gold liner. To apply it, I used a toothpick as I didn’t have any brush which was small enough to give me the precision I would like. With the duraline, you can transform any shadow into a liquid and use it as a liner! So if you want this look to match your outfit, then simply use another glittery shadow or highlighter.

Now it is time to finish up your makeup! For my brows, I used the Tony Moly Easy Touch Auto Eye Brow in the shade Brown. For mascara, I used the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara and I used the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in Eclipse for my highlight.

I hope you enjoyed this makeup look! If you have any questions, then don’t be afraid to ask! I wish you all a Happy New Year!
