I think a halo eyeshadow look is some of the most beautiful you can create! I don’t know why but there is just something about it! You can use shimmer shades for your halo eyeshadow look – like I did here – or only use matte shadows! I really wanted to use the BH Cosmetics x Shaaanxo Eyeshadow Palette (I used the old one) and thought the shades were perfect for a halo eye! If you want to know how I created this look, then keep on reading!

I started with priming my eyelids with the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre and setting it with translucent powder. Then I layed down some of the shadow Silhouette (if you have the old palette like me, then you can find the shade names on her new The Remix palette) using the  Pointed Blender Brush from Coastal Scents. To blend out the edges of Silhouette, I lightly dipped the Natural Blender Brush from Coastal Scents into the shade Terracotta and used small circular motions. Take your time on this step.

With the Pointed Blender Brush again, I applied some of the Silhouette shade under my eyes and used the Natural Blender Brush dipped into Terracotta to blend it out. So I actually just mimicked what I just had done on my lid. With a sponge tip applicator, I apply the shade Avocado on my lid. I start out wide closest to my lashes and then I go smaller the closer I get to my crease. Since Avocado didn’t give me enough, I applied some of the shade Holy Grail on the very centre of Avocado using a sponge tip applicator again.

Now finish up your makeup! For my brows, I used the Tony Moly Easy Touch Auto Eye Brow in the shade Brown. I curled my lashes with the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler (*) and used the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara. For highlight, I used the Jeffree Star Skin Frost in the shade Crystal Ball.

I hope you enjoyed this makeup look! If you have any questions, then don’t be afraid to ask!
