TUTORIAL: ROMANTIC VALENTINE’S DAY MAKEUP LOOK

TUTORIAL: ROMANTIC VALENTINE’S DAY MAKEUP LOOK

I am so sorry that I didn’t blog during last week but I was so stressed due to school which is why I only made two Valentine’s look instead of three as I said I would in my last post. I am sorry this look gets online so late, but I ensure you, it is pretty easy. I wanted this look to be a bit more “natural” and more everyday like if you don’t want something wild like my previous look with a dangling heart. If you want to learn how I got this look, then keep on reading.

I started by priming my lids with the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre and used a translucent powder to set it. The first shadow I used was a Coastal Scents Shadow Pot in the shade Redwood which I layed down in the desired shape with the Pointed Blender Brush from Coastal Scents. I blended out the edges of Redwood with the Natural Blender Brush from Coastal Scents which did not have any product on it.

With the same Pointed Blender Brush, I dipped into the shade Maroon Berry from Coastal Scents and applied it to the outer V of the eye and blended it out with a Crease Blender Brush from Coastal Scents without any product on the brush. I now dipped into the shade Vermeer from the Modern Renaissance Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills (*) with a sponge tip applicator and applied it to 3/4 of my lid. I blended out the edge of Vermeer (closest to the outer V) with the Pointed Blender Brush and a tiny dip of Redwood. I then applied some of the Redwood shadow under my eyes with the Pointed Blender Brush and blended it out with the Natural Blender Brush.

I then curled my lashes with the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler and applied my favourite mascara, the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara. For my brows, I used the NYX Cosmetics Tame & Frame Brow Pomades (*) in the shades Blonde and Brunette and used the NYX Cosmetics Control Freak Eyebrow Gel to keep them in place. For my highlight, I used the pink shade from the Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palette (*).

I hope you enjoyed this makeup look and I wish you all a lovely Valentine’s Day! If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask! I hope to see you around soon! xxx
