TUTORIAL: CHERRY BLOSSOM WINGED LINER

TUTORIAL: CHERRY BLOSSOM WINGED LINER

Another summer look! This time I took inspiration from the cherry blossom. I didn’t really know how I should do it, but I am really happy about how this turned out. If you don’t like flowers, then I don’t think this makeup look is anything for you hahaha. I will try to make some more summer makeup looks without flowers 😉 If you are interested in seeing how I created this look, then please keep on reading!

I started out by priming my lids with the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre and used a bit of translucent powder to set it. I then wanted a pink shade in my crease, but I did not want something harsh which is why I used the Classic Blender Brush from Coastal Scents lightly dipped into the shade Love Letter from the Modern Renaissance Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills (*). On my lid, I applied the white shadow Snow Bunny from Coastal Scents with the Smudge Brush from Real Techniques.

As this is inspired by cherry blossoms, I wanted the winged liner to represent a part of the tree which is why I chose to make it brown. I used the NYX Cosmetics Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Scandalous (*) and applied the winged liner with the Small Angled Liner Brush from Coastal Scents. Underneath my lower lashline, I applied a mixture of two blushes (the two to the left on the bottom row) from the Makeup Revolution Blush Palette in All About Pink and used the Pointed Blender Brush from Coastal Scents to apply it.

Now onto the flowers! I really hope you all like flowers, because I for some reason keep doing makeup looks with them even though I hate making them hahaha. Maybe I keep doing them because I love the finished look? But for the flowers, I started out by doing the petals with the NYX Cosmetics White Liquid Liner (*). As the petals of cherry blossoms are not all white but also pink, I applied some of the NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo (*) to the white petals with a clean applicator of an NYX Cosmetics Vivid Brights Eyeliner (*). To finish up the flowers, I applied a yellow dot in the middle of each of them with the NYX Cosmetics Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Halo (*).

That is actually it for the eye makeup! Now finish up your makeup; I curled my lashes with the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler (*) and applied the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (*) to my upper lashes.

I hope you enjoyed another summer look tutorial! Let me know if you have any requests for some other summer looks! Thank you so much for reading, I hope to see you back soon! xx
