Yet another Harry Potter universe inspired makeup look! This time, I chose to let Albus Dumbledore be my inspiration. Dumbledore was one of the most powerful wizards in the history. I think the character is very inspirational, and I can only understand why you would want to look up to someone like him. Please keep on reading if you are interested in learning how I created this look!

I started out by priming my lids with the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre. I then went in directly with the shadow Ash Grey from Coastal Scents in my crease and outer corner, and I used the Pointed Blender Brush from Coastal Scents to pack it on. With the Crease Blender Brush from Coastal Scents, I blended out the edges of Ash Grey with Snow Bunny from Coastal Scents. With the same Pointed Blender Brush, I applied some of Ash Grey to my lower lashline and made sure it was blended out using the same brush and Snow Bunny.

Because Dumbledore has blue eyes, I wanted to include something blue in this look which ended up being my inner corner. I therefore first applied some of Cornflower Blue from Coastal Scents to my inner corner with the Detail Pointed Brush from Coastal Scents. I will later apply some shimmer to it, but I then made a half cut crease using the Small Foundation Concealer Brush from Coastal Scents and the Dermacol Foundation. I did not set the concealer with powder but applied the Make Up Store Eyedust in Surface directly onto the wet lid.

I then continued the work on my inner corner, and I applied some of Alpengeist from Coastal Scents which have an icy hue to it, using the same Detail Pointed Brush. To make it even more shimmery, I applied some of the Snow (*) shade from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultimate Glow Kit (*) on top of Alpengeist using the same brush.

All that is missing now is the elder wand! To make the elder wand as my winged liner, I used the Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Manny MUA Velour Liquid Lipstick in the shade Daddy. I applied Daddy as a thin, normal winged liner. When it had dried, I used a bobby pin to create some dots on the wing of the liner. I also used Daddy to create the dots. As you can see on the photo of the elder wand to the right, the “dots” have some tiny black marks on it so I used the NYX Cosmetics Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Scandalous (*) to darken the dots a bit and I then went in with the NYX Cosmetics Matte Liquid Liner (*) to create the tiny black marks. I then finished up my makeup by curling my lashes with the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler (*) and applied some of the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara to my upper lashes.

I enjoy making these Harry Potter Inspired makeup looks! So if you have any recommendations on a character or creatures you would like to see me inspired by, let me know in the comments! Thank you so much for reading, I hope to see you back soon! xx
