Yet another look in my Harry Potter Makeup Series where I get inspired by characters etc. from the universe! This time I took the colours of the Ravenclaw house as my inspiration! This is far from my favourite look and while creating this I really wanted to wipe it all off soooo many times. I do not think a half cut crease is hard to do, but the blue shade really bugged me as it came off rather patchy. But I think I made it work. I was tempted to do an actual ravens claw where the wing of my eyeliner is, but I did not want to push my luck so I just went with a normal winged liner.

I started out by priming my lids with the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre and used the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (*) to set it. I then went in with the dark blue “Swallow” eyeshadow from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Androgyny Palette and used the Base Shadow Brush from Real Techniques (*) to lay down the shadow. I then blended out the edges of “Swallow” with a clean Pointed Blender Brush from Coastal Scents. I then applied “Swallow” under my lower lashes with the same Base Shadow Brush (*) and blended it out with the Pointed Blender Brush.

I then made a half cut crease using the Dermacol Make-Up Cover Foundation and the Small Foundation Concealer Brush from Coastal Scents. On top of the wet half cut crease, I applied “Déjà Vu” from the Androgyny Palette using the Smudge Brush from Real Techniques to apply it. The reason why I used the dark blue and the bronze shade is that it is the house colours of Ravenclaw. I then made a winged liner using the NYX Matte Liquid Liner (*). I finished up the look by curling my lashes with the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler (*) and applied some of the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara to my lashes.

I hope you enjoyed this Ravenclaw inspired makeup look. Please let me know if you have any characters or creatures you want me to be inspired by next! Thank you so much for reading, I hope to see you back soon! xx
