It has been a hot summer this year! In Denmark, we have had a much hotter summer than witnessed in many years due to the heatwave. I wanted to do something “inspired by” the heatwave and I wanted to do a fairly wearable look as my last ones have been not so wearable but more creative. If you want to learn how I created this look, then please keep on reading!
I started out by priming my lids with the MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre and used the eyeshadow Chamois Nude from Coastal Scents to set it. I then applied some of the Warm Taupe eyeshadow from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette (*) to my crease with the Crease Blender Brush from Coastal Scents. With the Pointed Blender Brush from Coastal Scents, I layed down some of the Cyprus Umber eyeshadow from the Modern Renaissance Palette (*) on my lid. I blended out the edges of Cyprus Umber with the Crease Blender Brush and a bit of Warm Taupe. When the edges of Cyprus Umber were blended out, I lightly applied some of the Burnt Orange eyeshadow from the Modern Renaissance Palette (*) to my crease with the Crease Blender Brush.
I cleaned the Pointed Blender Brush and applied some of the Warm Taupe eyeshadow to my lower lashline. I cleaned up the edges of the shadow with the Chamois Nude shadow and the Luxie 209 Large Shader Eye Brush. With the Smudge Brush from Real Techniques, I applied some of the Atomic Apricot from Coastal Scents to the middle of my lid. On the very centre of the orange shimmer shadow I just applied, I layed down some of the 18 Karat Gold from Coastal Scents using a sponge-tip applicator.
I then finished up the look by applying some of the NYX Cosmetics Wonder Pencil in Light (*) to my waterline. I curled my lashes with the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler (*) and applied some of the Essence Cosmetics Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara to my upper lashes.
Even though the weather has been extremely hot this summer, I hope you enjoyed it anyway! Thank you so much for reading, I hope to see you back soon! xx
